Personal AI company Persona raises $10M on October 8 and plans a $179 wearable band
Persona, founded by Zach Yadegari, raised $10M led by Vine Ventures and plans a December wearable launch after an iMessage based personal AI beta.
Personal AI company Persona announced a $10 million financing on October 8, led by Vine Ventures with participation from Cory Levy of Z Fellows and Collective Global. The report did not identify the round or valuation. Persona was founded by 19 year old Zach Yadegari, who previously built Totally Science and co developed the Cal AI app. MyFitnessPal acquired Cal AI in March 2026, and Yadegari left in June to start Persona. The product is a personal AI agent that first offers a free beta through iMessage for restaurant reservations, rides, notes, travel, email replies and questions. A $179 activation band is planned for December. It activates by button press or wrist motion rather than continuously listening, while model inference runs in the cloud. Persona reportedly has several thousand beta users and five figure band preorder revenue. It also describes controls for payment authorization, data deletion, prompt injection and phishing.
