Nvidia 13F filing discloses approximately 214.8 million Intel shares, valued at around $30 billion at end of June

Nvidia's August 14 SEC 13F filing shows it held approximately 214.8 million Intel shares as of June 30, valued at around $30 billion at quarter-end, up sharply from about $9.5 billion at the end of March.

Nvidia's August 14 SEC 13F filing disclosed that as of June 30 the company held approximately 214.8 million Intel shares, valued at around $30 billion at quarter-end, up sharply from approximately $9.5 billion at the end of March. The position originates from Nvidia's roughly $5 billion strategic investment in Intel in 2025.

At the time, the two companies simultaneously announced collaboration to develop chips for data centers and personal computers. Following the filing, Intel's share price rose more than 2 percent intraday on August 15 as the market read Nvidia's continued heavy positioning in Intel as a strategic signal.

The disclosure complements Nvidia's recent flurry of AI infrastructure moves. Earlier this month Nvidia was reported to be in talks for a $1.5 billion equity investment in SoftBank-owned SB Energy, and to provide up to $105 billion in asset-value backstop for the first 5-gigawatt phase of OpenAI's 10-gigawatt Ohio data center project. Combined with its roughly $21 billion SpaceX stake and roughly $30 billion Intel position, Nvidia has shifted from AI chip supplier to ecosystem financing anchor.
