Claude Code v2.1.252 ships, addresses Mac and Remote Control bugs

On Aug 31, Claude Code released v2.1.252 fixing 4 bugs including Mac Bash command failures, always-allow save failures, and Remote Control delays.

On August 31, Anthropic released Claude Code v2.1.252, three days after the previous v2.1.251 (August 28). The update contains 4 bug fixes, mainly addressing Mac Bash command failures, always-allow save failures, Remote Control delays, and notification errors caused by oversized failure outputs.

v2.1.252 does not introduce new features but maintains the dense release tempo since August. v2.1.251 on August 28 had introduced PreModelSwitch and PostModelSwitch hook events, the /usage limit bar, and 5 security fixes. v2.1.248 also released on August 28 added the --restricted sandboxed-deployment flag, the /usage-credits enterprise limit command, cross-session messaging across cloud platforms, and a fix for recurring prompt-cache misses.

Claude Code has become the core entry point of Anthropic's coding agent strategy. As of September 1 (data date), no new Anthropic product or service announcement has been confirmed; the latest release v2.1.252 on August 31 consists only of the 4 bug fixes.
