ChatGPT Business price cut to $20/seat/month on annual billing
OpenAI cut ChatGPT Business pricing from $25/$30 per seat/month to $20/$25, effective April 2.
On April 2, OpenAI cut ChatGPT Business pricing from $25 per seat on annual billing / $30 monthly to $20 annual / $25 monthly. The plan requires a minimum of 2 seats and targets small and medium-sized business teams.
ChatGPT Business includes unlimited GPT-5.5 access, shared workspace, admin console with SAML SSO, SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, and 60+ data connectors including Slack, Google Drive, SharePoint, and GitHub. Business data is excluded from model training by default.
OpenAI also introduced Codex-only seats with no fixed seat fee and pure pay-as-you-go token consumption, targeting teams that only need the coding Agent. The price cut comes in contrast to Anthropic restructuring Claude Enterprise billing, which requires enterprise customers to pay API token fees on top of base seat fees.
