On August 25, OpenAI launched ChatGPT Business Premium seats at $100/seat/month on annual billing or $125 on monthly. The price is 5x the Standard seat ($20/month annual), delivers 5x included usage, and removes the rolling 5-hour limit applied to Standard seats.
Premium ships the same core products as Standard: ChatGPT, ChatGPT Work, and Codex, with the difference being capacity. OpenAI documentation notes that Premium provides more included usage for ChatGPT Work and Codex, while individual ChatGPT model allowances remain governed by existing rules. The 5x claim has limits: Premium does not increase the limit for every model or feature, and consumption varies by model, task size, reasoning effort, and work performed.
Business workspaces require a minimum of 2 paid seats and can mix Standard and Premium. The self-serve plan caps at 200 seats. Premium does not include API usage (billed separately) and does not support invoices, purchase orders, bank transfers, ACH, or negotiated payment terms; enterprises requiring those arrangements are directed to contracted products.
