On September 24, Xiaomi released the MiMo-V2.6 model family. MiMo-V2.6 Pro is described by Xiaomi as a trillion-parameter omni-modal reasoning system built for long-horizon tasks, research, cybersecurity, and complex professional workloads. MiMo-V2.6 Flash targets lower-cost, high-volume use. Ultra-Speed is a separate variant for latency-sensitive deployments.
Xiaomi also released model components and training tools to support reinforcement learning and agent research. As a trillion-parameter offering from a consumer-device maker, the open MiMo-V2.6 family continues the cost pressure on US labs that was already forcing API price cuts.
