Samsung Electronics held its 10th Samsung AI Forum 2026 on September 30 at its Seocho headquarters in Seoul, themed "Agentic Shift: From Intelligence to Impact," with about 400 attendees. Executives from OpenAI, AWS, Anthropic, and Dell delivered keynotes.
Samsung Electronics held the 10th Samsung AI Forum 2026 on September 30 at its Seocho headquarters in Seoul, themed "Agentic Shift: From Intelligence to Impact." About 400 people attended, including 100 professors and researchers from Korean AI graduate schools and 300 Samsung Electronics employees in AI-related roles, with the event streamed live on YouTube. Co-CEO and Vice Chairman Jun Young-hyun said in opening remarks that agentic AI will fundamentally change the way people work and the structure of organizations, and Samsung will work with global AI leaders to find direction and drive practical innovation.
Morning keynote speakers included OpenAI hardware chief Richard Ho (on how LLM-based agentic AI can change businesses and industries), AWS Asia-Pacific AI technology leader David Green (on strategies for deploying agentic AI safely and cost-effectively), University of Washington professor Ranjay Krishna (on high-performance robotics AI with compact models), and Samsung Research / MIT professor Yoon Kim (on next-generation "agentic intelligence" architectures).
The afternoon split into two parallel tracks: Device Experience (DX) focused on on-device AI, physical AI, and continual learning, including self-evolving AI that analyzes user problems and autonomously improves performance, and world models that learn how the physical world operates to predict future situations. Device Solutions (DS) focused on AI applications in semiconductor design and manufacturing, with the DS AX/PI Center presenting internal cases of using AI to address production-floor challenges. Dell Technologies and Anthropic shared cases on enterprise AI agents and "AI factory" deployments. Samsung said it plans to expand the use of AI agents across business operations based on the technologies discussed at the forum, with a particular focus on solving complex production-floor problems.
