Anonymous models Kibitz and Kalmia appear on Arena, speculated to be Kimi K3.1 and Qwen 4
Two unidentified models, Kibitz and Kalmia, appeared in LMArena's anonymous testing pool. Community analysis of tokenizer fingerprints and special token behaviour points to Kimi K3.1 from Moonshot and Qwen 4 from Alibaba, but neither vendor has confirmed.
Reporting on October 22 says two previously unseen model identifiers, Kibitz and Kalmia, appeared in LMArena's anonymous testing pool. That pool is used to collect match data before a model is officially revealed, so entries there do not correspond to released products.
The community then narrowed identity using several signals, primarily tokenizer fingerprint differences and the shared presence of 11 garbled special tokens at a particular position. The analysis concluded Kibitz corresponds to Kimi K3.1 from Moonshot AI and Kalmia to Qwen 4 from Alibaba.
It is important to note that neither model identity nor release timing has been confirmed by the vendors, and that the identification comes from community analysis rather than official information. Neither company has responded. Until an official announcement, the inference should not be treated as a confirmed product roadmap.
