AI accounting platform Rillet raises $100M Series C at $1B valuation
On August 19 Rillet announced a $100M Series C led by ICONIQ at a $1B valuation, with ARR doubling in three months.
On August 19, AI-native accounting platform Rillet announced a $100M Series C round at a $1B valuation, officially reaching unicorn status. The round was led by ICONIQ with participation from existing investors Andreessen Horowitz and Sequoia.
Rillet co-founder and CEO Nicolas Kopp shared on X that the round closed in less than 48 hours. The company had not originally planned to raise more at this stage, but ARR doubled in three months, customers expanded to more than 600, and a strategic alliance with EY in April 2026 sparked strong investor interest. Rillet's AI-native platform automatically and continuously ingests, categorizes, and reconciles financial data from CRM and expense systems like Salesforce and Brex, turning the traditional general ledger into a dynamic, intelligent operating system.
Rillet emerged from stealth in 2024, closed a $25M Series A led by Sequoia in early 2025 and a $70M Series B later that year. The new C round will accelerate product development, expand the sales team, and grow internationally. Industry observers note that AI-native back-office software continues to command premium valuations even amid broader funding scrutiny.
