Natura unveils $99 AI agent smart ring on October 8, with shipping planned for December or January

AI hardware startup Natura announced a $99 smart ring on October 8 that uses a squeeze gesture to wake external AI agents. Supported agents include Meta's Muse, Instinct, Grok Bot, Claude and ChatGPT, and users can assign coding, booking, shopping or general questions to a chosen agent. Replies can arrive through earbuds, an iPhone Live Activity or the NatureOS app. Reported use cases include starting workout tracking, checking a schedule, reordering products, turning off a television, setting an alarm and sending meeting notes to colleagues. The ring tracks heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep stages, steps, activity and skin temperature. Battery life is six to twelve days and a full charge takes about 100 minutes. Natura plans to open preorders in November and ship in December or January 2027. A $9 monthly subscription follows a three to six month free period.
