MiniMax on October 13 opens first official Tmall flagship store, launching M Plan Go/Explore/Build subscriptions ahead of Double 11

MiniMax on October 13 opened its first official Tmall flagship store featuring M Plan subscriptions in Go, Explore, and Build tiers with monthly or annual options, first-order Go plan starting at 24.5 RMB, marking a broader move of large model vendors into e-commerce channels.

MiniMax officially launched its first Tmall flagship store on October 13, releasing subscription products just before the 2026 Double 11 shopping festival. The store features the M Plan subscription service in three tiers: Go, Explore, and Build, supporting monthly or annual purchases, with a launch promotion starting at 24.5 RMB per month for the Go tier. This is not an isolated case. Tmall launched the AI Space Station Token Recharge Center on September 3, integrating subscription services from Alibaba Cloud, Zhipu, Kimi, MiniMax, and DeepSeek. Since September, vendors such as StepFun have also been in talks with Tmall to open flagship stores and sell token subscription packages. On the e-commerce shelf, subscriptions and recharges have become familiar transaction language for consumers, translating model usage quotas that previously lived only between developer documentation and official payment pages into clearly priced e-commerce products for consumers who do not use APIs but are willing to pay for AI tools.
