Meta opens Muse early access on X with new shopping and office integrations
Meta opened Muse early access requests on X on September 25, adding Walmart, Best Buy, Sephora, PayPal, Shop Pay, Notion, GitHub, Granola, Expedia, and Instacart as ecosystem partners.
Digital Market Reports and Robotwisser coverage between September 26 and 27 reports that Meta opened requests for Muse early access on September 25 via X. Users do not need to fill in a traditional registration form — they send a fixed prompt directly to Muse and are queued. The prompt is pre-populated in the link Meta posted on X.
Users accepted into the program will get priority access to several capabilities previewed at Connect 2026: a video-callable digital avatar, a Mac desktop app extended to system-level control, expanded shopping and productivity integrations, and Meta AI glasses tie-ins. Meta positions the product as a "personal AI agent," competing head-to-head with OpenAI’s "o" expected to launch at DevDay and Alibaba’s Qwen Book.
New ecosystem partners include Walmart, Best Buy, Sephora, Ulta, and Wayfair for retail; PayPal and Shop Pay for payments; Notion, GitHub, Granola, and Box for productivity; and Expedia and Instacart for travel and on-demand services. Meta emphasizes that all integrations run under explicit user authorization and that Muse operates on a dedicated Muse Secure VM. Muse is also set to expand into the wearables category alongside the new Ray-Ban Meta Audio line (from $349) and Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 (from $449).
