Meta says Muse has over 10M users, with shopping a top activity
Zuckerberg said about 25 percent of people who set up Muse use it daily and Meta expects to improve compute cost efficiency by more than 10x within a year.
Meta confirmed on its Q3 earnings call on October 21 that Muse has more than 10 million users, matching Sensor Tower estimates. Zuckerberg said about 25 percent of people who set up Muse use it daily, and that over a quarter of engaged shopping users had an average purchase size above 200 dollars. Plaid reportedly had not seen activity like this on any other service. Meta will keep Muse free for most users and monetize a share of commerce, expecting more than 10x compute cost efficiency improvement within a year and building capacity to serve more than one billion people. A Muse network vision was also teased.
