Positioned as the strongest frontier model for complex professional work, it improves markedly on coding, agentic operation and long-running knowledge tasks. API pricing is $5 per million input tokens and $30 per million output tokens, double GPT-5.4, though OpenAI says fewer tokens are needed per task. It supports a 1.05M-token context window and is available in ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Codex. The Pro tier is priced at $30/$180 per million tokens.
