OpenAI launches GPT-5.4 with native computer use at $2.50/$15

OpenAI released GPT-5.4 on March 6, positioned as its strongest and most efficient frontier model for professional work. It is the first model to fuse native computer use with GPT-5.3-Codex-level coding, a 1M-token context window and tool search. On GDPval it matches or beats professionals on 83% of tasks; on OSWorld it reaches 75% success, above the human baseline of 72.4%. API pricing is $2.50 input and $15 output per million tokens, about half of Claude Opus 4.6.
