OpenAI releases ChatGPT Images 2.0

OpenAI released ChatGPT Images 2.0 on April 21, with the model codename gpt-image-2. This is the successor to GPT Image 1.5, offering more refined image generation and editing capabilities.

ChatGPT Images 2.0 is integrated into the image generation features for ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise users. Developers can access it via the OpenAI API using the gpt-image-2 model ID.

The GPT Image series supports multi-turn conversational image editing, style transfer, and local modifications. The 2.0 version brings significant improvements in image quality and instruction following.
