On August 25, ByteDance formally launched Doubao Work, a new agent product targeting productivity scenarios. The product, built by the Doubao team, can autonomously decompose tasks around user goals, call tools, and continuously push complex workflows forward while deeply integrating with Feishu.
For content generation and editing, Doubao Work supports collaborative editing of documents, spreadsheets, PPTs, and web pages; users can directly frame and edit specific parts instead of regenerating. For more complex scenarios, it can operate the browser and computer, completing tasks across software with user authorization. Long-running tasks can call cloud PCs for continuous execution, with mobile remote control.
For enterprise security, Doubao Work covers device access, permissions, quota control, data encryption, and audit. It strictly inherits Feishu's existing permission system. The product is one of the first office agents in China to pass both the office-agent capability and cloud-benchmark dual certification. The original Doubao Enterprise entry in Feishu has been upgraded to Doubao Work.
