Blueprints AI on October 12 announces second-generation software to deliver permit-ready construction blueprints in minutes

Blueprints AI on October 12 announced its second-generation software to be unveiled at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, producing code-compliant permit-ready architectural construction blueprints in minutes from a 2D sketch or PDF; first generation pricing is $3,200 to $8,500 per month.

Blueprints AI on October 12 announced that its second-generation software will be officially released at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026. The product, co-founded by Al Dram and Coco Cao and incorporated in 2025 in Santa Monica, California, generates code-compliant permit-ready architectural construction blueprints in minutes from a 2D sketch or PDF. The second generation allows customers to start with a project description or sketch and create blueprints for every aspect of a building at once, including architecture, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and interior design. Any design change updates the entire project and is checked against local building codes. The first-generation software costs between $3,200 and $8,500 per month and serves professional architecture, engineering, and design firms as well as developers and real estate owners. The models were trained on eight years of approved drawing sets from Dram's design-build firm. The company is clear that the technology does not replace licensed architects, who still review documents and affix their seal before submission.
