Apple plans to launch its new smart home lineup on October 13, including the HomeView smart home hub on an A18 chip, a new HomePod mini on an S10 chip, and a new Apple TV on an A19 chip. According to tech journalist Mark Gurman's October 12 disclosure, HomeView will ship in desktop and wall-mounted versions and is expected to go on sale in mid-November; the new HomePod mini and Apple TV are expected to launch on October 30. HomeView features a built-in display and is positioned as the central control hub for home smart devices, further integrating Apple's smart home ecosystem. Apple is also working closely with LG Electronics to co-develop smart doorbells, smart door locks, thermostats, and security cameras, which will fall under a new Apple Home Collection brand. The co-developed lineup is expected as early as late 2026.
