Anthropic launched two new tools, Claude Dashboards and Claude Motion, in beta on October 9. Claude Dashboards connects to data platforms or CRMs and uses natural-language questions to build live, query-backed visualizations; Claude Motion generates editable, code-based animations that can be exported as MP4 files and edited further inside Anthropic's workbench. The same day, Claude Docs, Claude Slides, and Claude Design graduated from beta to GA and are now available on every plan, including the Free tier. Dashboards and Motion extend Anthropic's product line beyond chat into structured data visualization and motion design, in parallel with OpenAI's October 8 global rollout of GPT-6 and Intelligent UI to paid ChatGPT users. Anthropic's moves target office information and motion-production use cases, where precise animation control and brand consistency are the differentiating claims. The launch lands alongside the updated usage policy that takes effect November 12, which adds the rule against sustained, needless cruelty toward Claude.
