Amazon's Bee launches Frontier and Eclipse wearables on October 14, starting at $75

Amazon's Bee on October 14 launched the Frontier and Eclipse personal AI devices, targeting all-day wear and desktop placement respectively, with the former starting at $75 and the latter at $129; the devices are always-listening and can place orders or schedule tasks on voice command.

Amazon's Bee on October 14 launched the Frontier and Eclipse personal AI devices, the Frontier targeting all-day wear and the Eclipse targeting desktop placement, at $75 and $129 respectively. The Bee Frontier weighs around 32 grams, carries a 4-microphone array with on-device wake-word detection, and can always listen to environmental dialogue with low-power local models for basic intent recognition; complex tasks are uploaded to the Bee Cloud for deeper semantic understanding and reasoning. The devices integrate deeply with Amazon shopping, food delivery and scheduling services, letting users order Amazon products, schedule events or invoke Alexa smart home via a single voice command; the Eclipse form factor adds a 5-inch display for conversation context and reminders. Bee emphasises privacy: all audio can be auto-deleted from the cloud within 24 hours and users can disable always-listening at any time. The devices are open for pre-order on Amazon.com with shipping expected from November; they directly compete with the previously failed AI hardware including Rabbit r1, Humane Ai Pin and Limitless Pendant.
