AI safety company Alice raises $140M, approaching $100M ARR

On August 25, Alice closed $140M led by Apax Digital; ARR approaching $100M, serving 8 of top 10 AI model labs.

On August 25, AI trust, safety, and security company Alice announced a $140M funding round led by Apax Digital Funds, with MoreTech and Phoenix Financial participating and existing investors Resolute Ventures, Grove Ventures, CRV, Highland Europe, Vintage Investments, Norwest, NFX, and Claltech following on. Total funding now stands at $280M; Apax Digital will join the board.

Alice's core capability uses its Rabbit Hole dataset, the world's largest dataset of real-world adversarial and harmful content, to help frontier labs and enterprises simulate malicious prompts and agentic tasks before release, and provide enterprise policy, compliance, and real-time monitoring post-deployment. Customers include Anthropic, Google, and Cohere. AI business has grown over 500% in the past two years, with ARR approaching $100M.

Alice runs one of the world's largest AI security research labs with over 150 researchers. Its systems protect more than 3 billion people online and serve 8 of the top 10 AI model labs globally.
