Alibaba Qwen on October 13 launches Personal Agent 'Qwen Go!' extending AI assistant to flight-delay claims, price protection, sports booking, and cross-app price comparison
Alibaba's Qwen on October 13 announced Personal Agent 'Qwen Go!' is open for testing and can autonomously handle flight delay compensation, Taobao price protection refunds, auto maintenance booking, sports venue reservation, and cross-app price comparison, powered by Qwen3.8 model family agentic capabilities.
Alibaba's Qwen on October 13 announced through its official WeChat account and multiple media outlets that the Personal Agent 'Qwen Go!' experience request page is live in the Qwen app, with users able to apply and receive phased access. Qwen Go further expands the personal assistant's task scope on top of the Alibaba ecosystem and open platforms, autonomously querying authorized platforms, comparing options, and calling service providers to complete tasks. Media test cases show Qwen Go can identify authorized travel platform orders, automatically confirm flight delay status and contact customer service, and when the agent offers voucher compensation it actively requests cash compensation, ultimately securing 70 RMB cash compensation for the user. In the Taobao shopping scenario, Qwen Go performs one-click price protection, checking all user orders to automatically identify refundable ones, and returned 52 RMB for a non-stick frying pan order. Qwen Go can also call dealerships and book 4S maintenance appointments, reserve badminton courts by venue and time, and compare refrigerators across JD, Pinduoduo, Tmall, and Douyin while stacking subsidies and coupons. Powered by the Qwen3.8 model family agentic capabilities, Qwen's stated goal is for every user to have a dedicated AI assistant.
