Anthropic launches Claude Duet agent research preview with 6000+ connectors
Anthropic introduced Claude Duet, a research preview agent app powered by Claude Opus 5.5, with 6000+ third-party connectors and checkout support via Stripe Link and Shopify Shop Pay, opening a waitlist for US Pro and Max subscribers.
Anthropic launched a research preview of Claude Duet on October 21, an agent application that acts across apps rather than offering a chat interface. It runs on Claude Opus 5.5 and the official page lists more than 6000 connectors spanning search, code hosting, office suites and commerce platforms.
For transactions, Claude Duet supports checkout channels including Stripe Link and Shopify Shop Pay, letting the agent complete a purchase flow without handing raw card details to the model itself. The app ships on iOS, Android and the web.
Availability is currently limited to US Claude Pro and Max subscribers, both via a rolling waitlist. Anthropic did not announce pricing changes nor say whether the app will extend to Team and Enterprise plans at general availability.
