Alibaba opens QwenWork international public beta, ranks first in Jefferies agent evaluation
On August 26, Alibaba opened QwenWork international public beta for its agent product, accessible via qwenwork.ai, with integrations for Slack and Notion. Wall Street bank Jefferies ranked QwenWork first across 8 mainstream agents in real office task testing.
On August 26, Alibaba announced that QwenWork, the international version of its "Qwen Office" agent product, has opened global public beta. From today, overseas individual and enterprise users can access it via the international website qwenwork.ai. The web version and PC client are now available.
Qwen Office has autonomous task execution capabilities that help individuals and enterprises boost office productivity, particularly in web delivery and multimodal capabilities. It can generate high-quality HTML pages and provide domain and database services, helping users turn ideas into accessible, runnable, usable web applications. Qwen Office also integrates image, video, and audio generation models so users don't need to switch between multiple AI tools.
The international version has integrated with Slack, Notion, and other mainstream overseas collaboration platforms, with plans to fully connect to enterprise databases and workflows. Localization has been done around language, accounts, and ecosystem: the product currently supports Chinese and English, with Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, and Korean coming soon; users can register via Google accounts and email, and the product connects to the Alibaba Cloud international account system.
Previously, Wall Street bank Jefferies analysts conducted real office task testing on eight global mainstream agents. Testing covered 5 real office tasks. Results showed that through model and Harness coordination, Alibaba Qwen Office ranked first in overall scores, surpassing Claude Cowork and Codex from the US. It was the only agent product to score above 90 in all evaluation dimensions, particularly excelling in complex office tasks, web browser control, and multimodal content generation.
